Creative Economic Stimulas
For as creative as the advertising industry is, there seems to be a void where thinking up business ideas is concerned during a tough economy.
No shortage for adjectives though: downsizing, restructuring, forced reduction. There are more.
No shortage for intrepretation: chopping block, layoffs, the axe. There are more.
Today I found myself lost in the thoughts of survival. Some of them are as follows:
Siesta
Salary reduction, 4-day work week, Energy conservation during certain times of the day, Job sharing, Service reduction......(ooouch. Don't go there!) Remote access. It's not the time to reduce benefits. It's not the time to treat employees badly or with hate.
We're all in this together.
